Nato nei pressi del lago Namtso\, in Tibet\, e riconosciuto come la reincarnazione dell’abate del monastero di Jhado\, Rinpoche ha completato i suoi rigorosi studi presso il monastero di Sera Je\, conseguendo il più alto titolo di Geshe Lharampa\, e ha proseguito i suoi studi presso il Gyuto Tantric College.
